Beware of WordPress Plugin Pricing Table by Supsystic
Beware of the WordPress Plugin ‘Pricing Table by Supsystic’.
If you are using an outdated version of the plugin, you may be vulnerable to web browser hijacking, which injects malicious redirect code in to the page where the table exists on your website.
If you are experiencing problems with your website redirecting to a scam offers / competitions / prizes website, then your plugin may have been hijacked.
You will need to delete the plugin and perform a clean install to the latest version if you wish to continue using the Pricing Table by Supsystic plugin.
In order to perform a clean install, do the following:
- Deactivate the plugin from the WP admin plugins page, or using your ftp client; delete the folder ‘pricing-table-by-supsystic’.
- Delete / drop the following 4 tables from your website’s database: wp_pts_modules, wp_pts_modules_type, wp_pts_tables, wp_pts_usage_stat
- Reinstall the plugin, ensuring you download the latest version.
- Done
Note: performing a clean install will remove all existing pricing tables from your website and you will need to set up new pricing tables.
