Magento newsletter won’t send

If you come across the problem with Magento newsletters not sending then it could be because the script is configured incorrectly.

Magento software uses a cronjob script called cron.php for newsletter functionality. This includes scheduling and sending.

This file is located in the Magento root folder of your installation.

Sometimes this functionality is disabled by default by your web host / server admin. So the first port of call should be to check with your web host where the website is hosted.
