WordPress – Turn off toolbar on frontend website
The first thing i do when i install a WordPress site is go straight to the admin panel and edit the user account to turn off / disable the pointless menu toolbar that shows on the frontend website.
Why?
As i said i find it pointless and it throws off the website style when designing or developing certain aspects of the site. Also, i find it becomes confusing if handling a client website.
To disable the toolbar on your website do the following:
1. Login to WordPress admin.
2. Click Users.
3. Click Edit User.
4. Uncheck the box that says “Toolbar – Show Toolbar when viewing site”
5. Click Update Profile button.
6. Done.
