WordPress life hack – delete all comments without plugin

You can delete all comments without using a plugin on WordPress by following the below steps:

1. Login to WP admin panel.
2. Click on Comments.
3. At the top of the screen click Screen Options.
4. Select “Number of items per page:” and change this to 100 or other number. Default is usually 20.
5. Wait for the page to finishing loading all comments (may take a few minutes), then select all and click delete or move to trash.

Note: Some servers don’t allow mass deletion of comments due to the uri processing. If the number you have selected per page is too large, e.g. 500, change it to a smaller amount per page such as 100 and delete the comments 100 at a time.
